Our Belles rolled up their sleeves and stepped into Servant Leadership with @operationchristmaschild. They took their “jobs” seriously. From inspecting to taping to scanning, they showed what sisterhood, service, and tenacity really look like.

With Thanksgiving behind us and Christmas approaching, this experience grounds us in gratitude.

They packed boxes for children in Tanzania, 🌎 and realized just how blessed they are. They saw how something as simple as a toothbrush, a toy, or a note of encouragement can bring joy to a child across the world. 💛

This is why @bemorebaddies exist: to inspire young women to be more, who understand their blessings, walk in confidence, and to have a heart to give. & moments like this remind us how meaningful this mission truly is.

As we enter a season of giving, we’re simply thankful for every person who pours into this work.

One thing about us… @bemorebelles do it well. 💜

This was 2014 when I started to consider to taking @bemorebaddies seriously. I was actually dating a guy at the time who really pushed me and gifted me this photoshoot for my birthday. At this time, I was officially branding myself as B-More Baddie but as time went on, I realized that it was bigger than me and bigger than Baltimore. When I first started the organization as a mentoring program, 10 years ago, I never thought that I’d still be in the nonprofit sector years later. I’ll never forget @aniqueyaminah who encouraged me to transition from B-More to BE More Baddies. I had not yet thought about the women component, where my career would take me or where I would be living. At this point, I’m totally off script but I’m in God’s will and that’s why @bemorebaddies is still evolving.

When people say @bemorebaddies, they’re saying it’s bigger than me. It’s about where you’re from but also about where you’re going and who you’re impacting.

Young black girls are at a disproportionate disadvantage for mental health stigmas and treatment. The National Black Women’s Justice Institute studied this issue and found shocking results in the way our black girls are being treated for their mental health issues.

Finally sharing a look back at our 8th Annual Baddies Annual Gathering (The BAG) which was nothing short of divine alignment and baddie excellence.

This year’s theme, Back to the Basics, brought us back to our foundations: faith, sisterhood, and purpose. The room was filled with Baddies (mothers, business baddies, daughters, friends, and God girls) ready to reset and start the year with God, girlfriends and goals.

Our Baddie Chat speaker, @jenniferlucytyler, delivered a timely and transformational message & now, she has officially released her new book “When Dreams Fall Apart.” 👏🏾💕 Her words reminded us that even in seasons of unraveling, God is rebuilding something stronger.

Getting older means outgrowing old versions of yourself to make room for newer ones.

Jobs shift, people come and go, and that plan you had when you were 25? They rarely, if at all, survive the remix.

You’ll re-learn yourself over and over again, and those around you will have to meet that new you, too.

So, to whoever needs to hear this:

Stop clinging to who you thought you’d be and make peace with who you’re becoming in this present moment. Every “you” you encounter along the way is exactly who you need to be; for this chapter, and for the many chapters yet to come.

Our Belles enjoyed a healthy curated and delicious dinner at @thechoptank , thanks to Chef Chris and it was more than just a meal. The girls had a moment of community, conversation, and sisterhood. 💕

Huge thank you to the amazing Choptank staff and @atlasrestaurantgroup for believing in the Belles.

PS. This is one of the last activities before we welcome our new Belles into the sisterhood!

Gia and her husband are absolutely AMAZING! They opened their Baltimore location in 2021 and have been lighting up the Maryland community ever since. From weddings to graduations to community events like ours, their team makes sure every detail is unforgettable.

As a New York native turned Baltimorean, Gia has embraced our city fully ➡️ balancing being a business owner, wife, and mama to her two boys while helping others bring their vision to life.

As we prepare for a new school year, Baddies remember the influence that you have on the next generation of women. Remember this:
